A Full Scale Depot Overhaul

JATA stepped in and hit the ground running. We conducted a full site survey, working closely with GAP’s regional managers to design a facility that met the specific needs of different divisions. Internally, we revamped everything from the offices to the hire desk, ensuring the layout was optimised for efficiency. Externally, we overhauled the yard with new lights, security fencing, a mezzanine, washpit, and fresh landscaping to breathe new life into the space.

With GAP’s old depot on the clock to be moved, we knew timing was critical. Brought in as a trusted partner, we worked side-by-side with GAP’s internal contractors to keep the project on track. This wasn’t just a depot refresh – it was a full-scale transformation, and we had the team on board to make it happen.

Once the designs were locked in, our construction team got to work, while GAP’s Regional Directors kept a close eye, tweaking as needed to ensure the final result matched their vision. Our Connections division stepped up too, installing a host of cutting-edge electrical and security systems. This included automating the front door with safety features and installing a dewatering plant and a massive 10,000-litre water storage tank to keep operations flowing smoothly.
